Washington County Sheriff's Office reported additional calls regarding trees downed by strong wind gusts across the county as a line of thunderstorms moved through the area.

Wider weather episode

On the evening of April 28, a line of strong thunderstorms developed ahead of an advancing cold front. This line of storm produced many instances of wind damage as well as some hail across SE TX, mainly to the north of the I-10 corridor.
