Observations show that during a 12 hour period in the Central Cascades, within a 12 hour period, 12 inches of snow fell when a Winter Storm Warning was in place. Totals also increased afterwards due to the presence of the Puget Sound Convergence Zone.

A strong front entered Western Washington, bringing another round of heavy mountain snow.
