Intensifying low pressure crossed the region during the 23rd with a warm front...exiting across the Maritimes during the early morning hours of the 24th. Snow began during the early morning hours of the 23rd then persisted into the early morning hours of the 24th. Storm total snow accumulations across northern Aroostook county generally ranged from 4 to 6 inches. However, isolated totals up to around 8 inches also occurred across northeast Aroostook county. Snow accumulations across the remainder of northern Maine generally ranged from 3 to 5 inches.
