A report from the public and local press indicated the collapse of a community bridge near road PR-916 in Barrio Cerdo Gordo, Sector Acueductos. Five families were left uncommunicated.

Wider weather episode

Unsettled weather with numerous showers and thunderstorms were observed due to an upper level cut-off low strengthening northwest of Puerto Rico. Strong divergence aloft resulted in hail, and the heavy rain left flooding, mudslides and rivers overflowing.
