An individual was trapped in a car located on a bridge over the river at road PR-647.

Wider weather episode

An approaching frontal boundary, along with patchy moisture reaching the area, and increased instability due to a developing low north of the islands, resulted in the formation of areas of showers and thunderstorms. These storms resulted in several reports of flooding, mudslides, and even a funnel cloud.
