Multiple trees were falling onto the roadway on Interstate 280 west of Millbrae between Larkspur Drive and Trousdale Drive.

An approaching strong upper level low brought widespread damaging winds to the Bay Area and Central Coast on February 21. A Wind Advisory was issued for the entire region in advance of the event, and was upgraded to a High Wind Warning along the coast and in the higher elevations of the Central Coast.
