The highest snowfall totals in Oneida County included 7 inches in Minocqua as well as Sugar Camp and 6.5 inches near Goodnow.

A low pressure system tracked from northern Wisconsin during the day on Saturday (4/29) and meandered over the Upper Peninsula of Michigan Saturday evening (4/29) into Sunday morning (4/30). A surge of cold air changed rain over to heavy snow Saturday evening (4/29). A swath of 6 to 8 inches of snow fell across portions of north-central Wisconsin.

Some of the highest snowfall amounts included 8.4 inches near Boulder Junction (Vilas Co.), 8 inches in Woodruff (Vilas Co.) as well as near Phelps (Vilas Co.), 7.5 inches in Eagle River (Vilas Co.), 7 inches in Minocqua (Oneida Co.) as well as Sugar Camp (Oneida Co.), and 6.5 inches near Goodnow (Oneida Co.).
