Snowfall amounts up to 12 inches were reported in the Red Lodge area. As a result of the heavy, wet snow, a roof of a business collapsed.

An upper low moved across Wyoming producing a deep, upslope flow against the Beartooth/Absaroka Mountains and adjacent foothills, which resulted in heavy snow amounts.
