A quasi-linear convective system (QLCS) moved through Central New York, which was accompanied by strong wind gusts. Ahead of this system, scattered thunderstorms developed. Many of these storms had strong wind gusts as well. There were multiple reports of trees and wires down from the cellular storms and the QLCS.
