A line of thunderstorms pushed off the coast and over the Laguna Madre and Coastal Waters early in the morning on May 13th. The Texas Coastal Ocean Observing Network (TCOON) at Realitos (RLIT2) gusted to 45 knots at 4:30AM CDT. The South Padre Island Coast Guard Station (PCGT2) TCOON gusted above 34 knots from 4:24AM CDT until 4:30AM CDT with a maximum gust of 45 knots at 4:30AM CDT.
