A peak wind gust to 62 mph was recorded at Jackson county airport.

There were numerous reports of large hail of up to tennis ball sized in diameter on April 4th mainly between the I-96 and I-94 corridors. The large hail did significant damage to the roofs and siding of many homes as well as cracked some windshields of vehicles. An NWS employee measured hail up to two and a half inches in diameter near Middleville.
