Event narrative

Several SNOTEL stations including Pickle Keg, Seeley Creek, and GBRC Meadows recorded 1.1 to 1.8 inches of snow water equivalent, resulting in approximately 12 to 19 inches of snow.

Wider weather episode

Another winter storm brought gusty winds and accumulating snow to much of Utah in the middle of March. Precipitation combined with snowmelt also resulted in flooding, mostly in southern Utah, including noted fatalities in a popular slot canyon.
