Emergency management reported half dollar sized hail.
Wider weather episode
A surface boundary associated with shortwave trough was draped across the CWA during the morning hours of March 28th. A few hours after midnight, stronger thunderstorms began to pop up along the boundary. One cell briefly turn severe as it moved into Southwest Mississippi, producing half dollar sized hail. This storm moved off to the northeast out of our CWA and no additional storms turned severe.
