North winds gusted to 60 mph at Baffin Bay with a cold front.

A strong cold front moved through south Texas during the evening of the 2nd. North winds gusted from 50 to 60 mph from the northern Brush Country to the Coastal Bend with the passage of the cold front. Winds were locally higher in the Corpus Christi area where winds gusted from 60 to 70 mph. These higher winds produced sporadic tree damage from near the Corpus Christi International Airport to the south side of Corpus Christi. Some vehicles were damaged by fallen trees.
