A snow squall occurred in the area of Sandpoint. Spotter reported quick heavy snow of 2 inches with 30 to 40 MPH winds. It caused a rapid drop in visibility. Sandpoint airport reported a quarter mile of visibility and gust of 31 MPH.

A quick moving snow band brought brief heavy snow and gusty winds causing a snow squall for the North Idaho Panhandle.
