Event narrative

Snow Squall. The KSLC ASOS reported a period of moderate snow and winds gusting between 30 to 45 mph with visibility down to a half mile. Similar observations are noted at other area mesonet sites through the Salt Lake Valley during the period, including the SR-85 @ Juniper mesonet site, and the I-15/2400 S Spaghetti mesonet site.

Wider weather episode

The active winter pattern persisted deeper into Late March as another winter storm once again brought accumulating snow to many portions of Utah, primarily from central Utah northward.
