Southwest of Pike Lake, trees were uprooted and campers were flipped at a campground.

A very strong low pressure system ejected northeast from the lower Mississippi Valley into the Ohio Valley on Friday, March 3. As the surface low deepened, it created record low pressure readings over many locations in southwest Indiana and western Kentucky.
