Freezing drizzle and freezing fog was reported within Kit Carson county creating low visibilities down to 1/2 of a mile and icy roads. Due to these hazardous driving conditions, an accident occurred on I-70 at Mile Marker 441 (2 miles east of Burlington, CO) that caused one of the lanes to be closed. No injuries were reported. Key impacts: hazardous traveling conditions, road closures, vehicular accidents.

The resulting icy roads and reduced visibilities down to 150 ft. created hazardous driving conditions that led to vehicular accidents within the region.
