Pennsylvania State police reported that lightning struck a tree, causing a large branch to fall on a vehicle on Limestone Road just north of Highland Road in Highland Township, PA. Time estimated via radar.

A closed upper level low lifted north just to the west of our region, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms. A few severe storms produced damaging winds and small to medium sized hail.
