The Bone COOP observer measured 18 inches of snow over the extended spring snowstorm.
Wider weather episode
A continual influx of Pacific moisture and colder than normal temperatures brought rounds of very heavy snow, strong winds, avalanches, and road closures throughout southeast Idaho in an extended period. Events were difficult to separate and treated as one continual event.
