The RWIS station near Fairfield, ID measured 5.0 inches of snow in 24 hours. This closed US Highway 20 from milepost 96 to milepost 152 due to blowing and drifting heavy snow.

Wider weather episode

A surface low pressure system paired with a mid-level shortwave trough produced bands of heavy snow and strong wind in the Treasure Valley and Snake River Plain. Several transportation impacts occurred, with multiple accidents along Interstate 84 near Mountain Home reported.
