Event narrative

Upwards of 4 feet of snow fell in the Albion Mountains with estimated amounts of 16.4 inches at Bostetter Ranger Station and 42.3 inches at Howell Canyon SNOTEL sites. The heavy snowfall and wind eventually caused an avalanche on the 27th closing Pomerlle Mountain and Howell Canyon Road.
