The CoCoRaHS station ID-CY-15 4.8 miles northwest of Nampa measured 4.0 inches of snow in 24 hours.

A surface low pressure system paired with a mid-level shortwave trough produced bands of heavy snow and strong wind in the Treasure Valley and Snake River Plain. Several transportation impacts occurred, with multiple accidents along Interstate 84 near Mountain Home reported.
