Light snow started in the Central Cascades late on March 2nd and continued into March 3rd with advisory amount accumulations around 6 to 8 inches within 10 to 12 hours.

A frontal system moved through Western Washington bringing significant snow to the Cascade Range Mountains, where a Winter Storm Warning was issued for each mountain zone.
