Observations depict light snow started to fall in the late evening hours of March 9th and continued through the day on March 10th, with advisory amount snow accumulations of around 5 to 7 inches through 12 hours.

A surface low funneled moisture into the region and increased QPF values, and with snow levels around 3000 feet, moderate snow accumulations were likely. Winter weather advisories were posted for all Cascade Zones.
