Light to moderate snow started to accumulate March 10th around 3pm and continued onwards until March 11th. During this time, around 8 to 10 inches of snow fell within 12 hours, verifying the Winter Weather Advisory that was out at that time.

Wider weather episode

A surface low funneled moisture into the region and increased QPF values, and with snow levels around 3000 feet, moderate snow accumulations were likely. Winter weather advisories were posted for all Cascade Zones.
