Starting in the mid afternoon on March 12th, moderate snow started at Mount Baker with 11-12 inches accumulating by the early morning hours of March 13th. Light snow accumulations still continued into the 14th.

Wider weather episode

A cold front brought snow levels down through the mountains, and moisture to enhance snowfall along the Cascades, particularly in the North Cascades.
