Event narrative

Mostly light to moderate snow fell in the North Cascades starting late March 30th and extending into the 31st. Light snow continued into the beginning of April. Winter Storm Warning did not verify with accumulations of 6 to 8 inches throughout a 12 hour period.

Wider weather episode

Another cold front lifted into Western Washington, dragging all snow levels below pass levels, with winter weather expected through the Cascades.
