COOP Observer at University of Montana Western, in Dillon, reported an event total of 10 inches of snow. Heavy snow, accompanied by strong gusty winds, affected the City of Dillon. Several members of the public reported snowfall amounts ranging from 5 to 10 inches across the city.

Wider weather episode

A series of Pacific weather systems brought periods of snow to most of central and southwest Montana through the weekend with a stronger winter storm affecting portions of Southwest Montana through the early part of the weekend.
