Douglas Airport ASOS station (KDGW) measured peak wind gust.

Wider weather episode

A thunderstorm developed late in the afternoon on the 30th along the North Laramie Range and foothills with strong winds behind an initial line of storms that developed earlier in the day. Also received reports of funnel clouds in the Douglas area from this storm.
