Event narrative

A trained spotter reported that the roads near Acacia Rd and Kuala St. along

Kamehameha Highway was flooded in Pearl City. 6-12 inches of water was reported on the roadway with vehicles slow to move through. Also, one lane was closed on H1 and Punahou St, due to flooding over the road. Additionally, cars were stranded in ponding water on the off ramp at H1 and Vineyard.

Rainfall was sufficient to flood and close roads in urban Honolulu.
