Event narrative
A trained spotter 7 miles west-southwest of Kewa Pueblo reported nickel size hail in association with a supercell in eastern Sandoval County.
Wider weather episode
The upper level low from May 31st slowly moved northeast towards Colorado with another round of severe storms across eastern New Mexico. Training supercells in central and southern Guadalupe County resulted in several reports of 1 to 2 inch hail as well as heavy rain. There were no reports of flash flooding however.
