Event narrative
Three storm reports with hail between 1 to 1.75 inches covered U.S. Highway 54 from a second trailing supercell. Hail fell for around 20 minutes near Pastura in Guadalupe County.
Wider weather episode
The upper level low from May 31st slowly moved northeast towards Colorado with another round of severe storms across eastern New Mexico. Training supercells in central and southern Guadalupe County resulted in several reports of 1 to 2 inch hail as well as heavy rain. There were no reports of flash flooding however.
