Before cool temperatures were seen across the state, a couple more rounds of thunderstorms were expected. The first of which took place from April 20-22. A few reports of severe weather were received with some locally very heavy rainfall observed as well. Little Rock received more than 3 inches of rain in a 24 hour period. A lightning strike occurred very close to the NWS office in North Little Rock on the evening of April 20th which damaged some equipment.
