Wider weather episode
While cool temperatures and rainy conditions were in place for the last several days of the month, there was one more round of strong to severe thunderstorms to move across the state on April 27th. A few storms produced hail from central into eastern Arkansas. A few brief funnel clouds also occurred across northeast Arkansas beneath an upper level storm system that rotated its way east of the area.
