Event narrative

Strong thunderstorm winds resulted in multiple uprooted or snapped trees along Silver Lake Road. There were also reports of wires down and power outages.

Wider weather episode

One lone storm became severe after quickly developing in the southern portions of Pike County in Northeastern Pennsylvania. This storm had strong wind gusts as it passed west of Dingmans Ferry. Storm damage included multiple downed trees and utility wires, which did lead to localized power outages.
