Event narrative
Light snow accumulation began on April 15 around noon, resulting in generally less than 1 inch into April 16th at the Mt Baker Ski Area. Snow really began to pickup on April 16th (between 5am-7am), with well over a foot of snow falling by the early morning hours of the 17th (5am-7am). Snow also then continued through the 18th, with about another half a foot falling in a 24 hour period.

Heavy mountain snow was experienced in the North Cascades around mid-April as an active weather pattern persisted.
