Public reports three inch diameter hail along with quarter and golf ball sized hail at this location. Two inches of hail accumulation was reported as well.

Wider weather episode

Two areas of isolated thunderstorms developed over the northern panhandle and northeastern Colorado during the early afternoon hours of May 6th. As this activity transitioned east, it became severe over north central and southwestern Nebraska during the late afternoon and evening hours of May 6th. Hail up to 3 inches in diameter and thunderstorm wind gusts to 60 MPH were reported.
