Dime to quarter size hail fell near Creswell, according to an mPING report.

A broken line of thunderstorms moved southeastward through the NE parts of Eastern NC. One particular storm became severe and produced quarter size hail. Widespread wind gusts of up to 50 mph occurred in the northern Outer Banks, just under severe thunderstorm criteria.
