This event began the last day of May and continued into June. The Elk River near Milner exceeded flood stage inundating low lying areas adjacent to the river, mainly pasture and farm land.

Wider weather episode

Warm temperatures caused rapid melting of mountain snowpack and high flows on area rivers.
