Trees were blown down at the cross section of US Highway 17 and Burnt Fort Road. The cost of damage was unknown, but it was estimated for inclusion of the event in Storm Data.

A cold front lingered across South Georgia. This feature combined with elevated MLCAPE of 2000 J/kg, steep mid-level lapse rates, decent shear and moist dew pts produced scattered strong to severe storms during the afternoon and evening.
