A couple of large trees were knocked down near Quinn's Pond on the Boise Greenbelt.

Wider weather episode

A strong upper level trough moved into the region with favorable ingredients for strong thunderstorms. Widespread severe thunderstorms brought severe hail and winds to the region, causing minor damage to structures, numerous flight delays, and a capsized boat on Lake Lowell.
