Thunderstorms developed over the Nebraska Panhandle during the late afternoon hours of May 30th. As they tracked east into the eastern panhandle and western Sandhills, they became severe. Hail up to quarter size and thunderstorm wind gusts to around 70 MPH was reported with the strongest storms.
