Event narrative

An area of showers with minimal discernable convective elements resulted in a period of high winds. The I-15 at MP 369 North Brigham City mesonet sensor measured multiple wind gusts in excess of 58 mph, with a peak gust of 67 mph noted at 10:00 pm MST 5/13/23. The I-15 @ Willard POE also measured a wind gust of 60 mph at 11:00 pm MST 5/13/23. Other lesser wind gusts are noted throughout this time, with winds gradually diminishing through the morning hours.
