A thunderstorm produced golf ball size hail in Crystal City.
Wider weather episode
An upper level shortwave trough provided lift over the higher terrain in Mexico generating thunderstorms which moved into a warm, moist airmass in South Central Texas. Some of these storms produced large hail.
