Wider weather episode

Severe thunderstorms in the form of embedded supercells developed across Arkansas in the late evening on Saturday, the 11th of March, then continued into Mississippi in the early morning hours. These storms were located predominately within and directly ahead of an advancing storm complex associated with an approaching cold front. Initially producing damaging wind and large hail, these storms grew upscale into an organized cluster of storms, producing predominately wind damage once they moved across interstate 55 from west to east.
