A tree was blown down across Bishop Circle. The time of damage was based on radar. The cost of damage was unknown, but it was estimated for inclusion of the event in Storm Data.
Wider weather episode
Two distinct short-wave troughs embedded within an upper-level trough west of the region brought 2 rounds of strong to severe storms across the local area under active SW flow. The first round of storms moved inland across the Suwannee River Valley in the morning and tracked eastward across the area through early afternoon. The next round of storm occurred during the evening toward the Atlantic coast. Widespread wind gusts of 40-50 mph and small hail occurred with many of the strong storms with large hail from severe storms and damaging wind gusts.
