The COOP station at NWS Juneau recorded temperatures below 32 degrees for over 6 hours with a minimum of 28 degrees. The ASOS at the Juneau airport also recorded a low of 28 degrees. No impacts were shared.

Wider weather episode

A ridge of high pressure over the eastern Gulf of Alaska, decreasing cloud cover, and light winds during the overnight hours allowed temperatures to fall across the northern panhandle. A frost advisory was in effect and no impacts were shared.
