Large trees were blown down and there was some roof damage. The time of the damage was based on radar. The cost of damage was unknown, but it was estimated for the event to be included in Storm Data.

The wider storm

A cut-off upper level low and upper level trough lingered over the SE states. Moist, SW steering flow around the eastern side of this upper level feature focused embedded short wave troughs rotating through the base of the upper level trough across the local forecast area, which enhanced waves of storminess that moved inland from the Gulf of Mexico and traversed the local area through the afternoon and evening. A flood watch was in effect for portions of north-central Florida given recent heavy rainfall.
