A large oak tree was uprooted and fell across Fleming Drive near the entrance to Emily's Way.

The wider storm

A surface front was shifting south across Georgia with a surge in moist WSW flow off of the Gulf of Mexico under a passing short wave trough and bulk shear of 20-25 kts. Intrusion of drier air from the NW exacerbated DCAPE values well over 1000 J/kg and supported strong downburst winds in scattered severe storms that developed across NE FL in the evening.
